This is my favorite movie of all time...

…because it was written, directed, and edited by my son, Curry Barker. My youngest son, Riley Barker, was a camera operator, and my oldest son, Jeffrey Barker, was the lead production assistant. Curry’s mother designed the logo for the One Wish Willow. And I worked as a script consultant, contributing writer, actor (trivia bar host), and background (dude looking to buy some drums).

So, yeah… maybe I’m a little biased.

I will have a lot to say about this in the next week or so. But right now, I am just too filled with joy and gratitude to concentrate. This film’s reception is beyond anything any of us could have ever imagined. Curry is truly living a dream come true.

Ten-year-old Curry wished for this, all of it. But he didn’t have a One Wish Willow. He had kindness, ambition, and discipline. As you can imagine, I couldn’t be prouder.

Please go to the theater to see this movie. Not because I want another $15 added to the box office. Go because this movie has a lot to say and will stick with you for days, possibly weeks, after you see it.

Obsession marketing tells you to be careful what (who) you wish for. But don’t do that. Be bold about your wish. Then go make it so.
